ADVANCED STRATEGIES FOR A TAILORED REVASCULARIZATION

HEART IN NETWORK: Advanced Strategies for Tailored Revascularization is an advanced course focused on the contemporary, patient-tailored management of coronary revascularization through a multidisciplinary approach integrating interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, and pharmacological therapy.

The program explores diagnostic and therapeutic pathways for patients with complex coronary artery disease, including left main and multivessel disease, high-risk patients, and non-revascularizable conditions, with a strong emphasis on advanced imaging, risk stratification, and personalized decision-making.

The course also addresses percutaneous, surgical, and hybrid revascularization strategies, technological innovations, pharmacological management, and the optimization of integrated clinical care pathways.

The course provides 6 ECM (Continuing Medical Education) credits.

MIX MICS

In the evolving landscape of valvular heart disease, both percutaneous and surgical techniques now offer highly effective treatment options for aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valve conditions. While surgery has long been considered the gold standard, recent advances in transcatheter approaches have created new opportunities—particularly for high-risk patients.

At the same time, cardiac surgery itself is changing: innovative, less invasive techniques are being developed to enhance recovery, reduce hospital stays, and improve overall quality of life.

MIX MICS is a multidisciplinary course designed to provide a comprehensive and practical understanding of both surgical and interventional strategies, with a strong focus on clinical decision-making and patient-centered care.

Participants will gain:

  • A structured overview of current percutaneous and surgical approaches, including indications and patient selection criteria

  • A step-by-step look at procedural techniques through lectures and live case transmissions

  • An interactive comparison of surgical versus transcatheter options in complex clinical scenarios, guided by a faculty of experienced operators

This course is intended for cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and all professionals involved in the management of valvular heart disease who seek to deepen their expertise and collaborate within a true heart team environment.
